We believe that local politics is important, in the past when it came to public meetings or hustings for local elections typically unless you could make it on the night you had to rely on a few paragraphs in the local paper later that week to hear what your representatives had to say. Social media and streaming changes this and can bring important public conversations to a much wider audience.
Ahead of the 2018 Local Elections we were welcomed in by the Birmingham Chinese Community Centre to give their hustings the full multi-camera treatment and allowing local representatives from the three main parties a platform to engage the public.
